I hope everyone is having a good day.
So here I am again trying to post yet another personals add.
I swear coming back to the Craigslist personals is like re visiting an old friend.
Okay so that was sort of a bad joke but what I mean by that comment is that it can get discouraging having to constantly come back and post an add when the 3 or 4 responses you may get for the day don't end up leading anywhere or have much of a chance of going anywhere, but on the other hand I have been fortunate enough to talk to some really nice people so in that sense I don't have any regrets about the experiences that I've had.
I've tried different sorts of themes for my adds some of which have been semi successfull but since theme adds don't seem to work so well for me, and because I know everybody is in search of different traits when searching for a significant other I figured I would just say a little bit about myself and hope that somebody out their will be intrigued enough to want to respond.
My friends and family would generally describe me as a very social and talkative person, but I do like to make it clear right from the start that I am not nor have I ever been the party animal type.
This isn't to say though that I don't have a wide assortment of interests some of which include reading, listening to all types of music, talking online, on the phone, going out to dinner, sometimes to the movies, browsing around in a bookstore such as Barnes And Noble or Borders, or perhaps just walking around a music store looking at CD's and DVD's.
A couple of my biggest passions in life are music and great books, however I do tend to be very ecclectic on both fronts.
For example you won't ever find me reading some sort of self help book.
I know some people have tried to convince others that they are helpful but I won't be converted I'm a fiction person all of the way.

I will say though that if you have a love or appreciation for Oldies music, or anything Scifi, Fantasy, some fiction, and a sprinkling of Historical fiction your well on your way to blowing me away, but i certainly don't require for anyone to have those interests in order to contact me.
I'm always interested in meeting all sorts of people, but I will say that I generally tend to gravitate more towards people that are not superficial or concerned with things such as looks, sex, somebody's income status, or being with someone that has every little bit of their life together.
I understand that everybody has to find someone that is a decent fit for them, but over the years I think our society has become so concerned with itself that alot of people have forgotten to reach out or the happy feeling it could bring to someone even by just attempting that sort of thing.
We seem to live in a world where everybody or about 90 percent of the people living in it are unwilling to step outside of what they know and in some respects that's what I'm looking for a person that isn't afraid to try reaching out to somebody that may not be exactly like them self.
I'm interested in talking to people of all ages, races, to folks from any walk of life, and to people from any geographic locations.
I've always sort of had this theory that the person I'm meant to be with may or may not be from within my own back yard so if your open to the idea of meeting someone from elsewhere this is a major plus.
I wouldn't move outside of the united states I'm not that desperate to meet someone, but I also don't think you should limit yourself anymore then you have to.
